       Found on letterhead, vehicles, and one or more outdoor signs displayed on public school property, this nearly naked "Plains 'Indian Chief'" carries a weapon as he rides horseback.
      Stereotypical "Indian" sports team tokens "freeze" First Nations in a romaticized historic period that never existed, gloss  over the genocidal horror inflicted upon them, and creates barriers that prevent students from acquiring a more accurate understanding of both historic and contemporary Indigenous Peoples.
