     This "tough-guy" "Indian" image is yet another example of the stoic "noble savage" and depicts what would likely be eagle feathers. For some First Nations, such items hold profound spiritual meaning and thus may be considered as religious symbols.
     Exploiting stereotypical racial icons and religious symbols in public schools may be considered as a form of institutional racism.
